G. W. Carver Middle School
Enrich the Spanish cultural knowledge of IS students, teachers and the SIPA community.
Provide funds for programs and events that encourage the study and use of the Spanish language and develop awareness and appreciation for Spanish culture.
ABOUT US
We are SIPA! ❤
The Spanish International Parents Association (SIPA) was established in April 1990 as a non-profit organization run by volunteer parents.
It serves as a support group for the Spanish Section of the International Studies (IS) Magnet Program of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the Spanish Ministry of Education. The IS Program is a highly demanding curriculum that allows the IS students who complete the program through the 12th grade to receive a “Bachiller” degree from the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Spain and a High School diploma from the State of Florida.

The mission at Sunset Elementary is to provide students with a comprehensive international education through language acquisition and innovative programs, facilitated by highly qualified staff that will enable them to become world leaders.
GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER
Middle School
George Washington Carver Middle School is the only public middle school recognized by the French, Italian, German and Spanish governments and accredited by the Spain. All students at G.W. Carver Middle School study French, Italian, German or Spanish and their respective cultures at an in-depth level. Students enjoy a true middle school experience complete with clubs, after-school sports, and exciting field trips.

International Studies Preparatory
International Studies Preparatory Academy at Gables (ISPA) is a model for international education while creating an educational community where every student becomes responsible citizens, lifelong learners and contributors to a global society. ISPA will foster a sense of communal responsibility and solidarity through the celebration of culture, language and diversity.
